School Trips

Our school offers extra learning opportunities for children in the form of short visits in the immediate vicinity of the school and further away, as well as a residential journey for pupils in Years 3 to 6 (the four oldest age groups) and an overnight stay for pupils in Year 2 at a local activity centre.

At Roydon we endeavour to enrich the curriculum we offer to our children. We have taken groups to West End shows (Lion King, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang; to the Royal Opera House (La Traviata); Delights of Science workshops; Harlow Playhouse; places of religious worship and the Harlow Outdoor Pursuits Centre to name a few.
