French club

French club is provided by a French teacher from “The French Club” and takes place every Monday from 3.15-4.15 pm.

Children learn conversational French through games and songs and are provided with a personal file.

Children from Reception to year 5 attend the club at a cost of £49.00 per term.

At Roydon school, we encourage children to develop an ear for foreign languages. Assemblies often include French songs and Year 5 and 6 receive French lessons weekly from a French teacher from one of our neighbourhood secondary schools. Every class will soon study French as part of the curriculum.
