FORSA
Friends of
Roydon School Association, or FORSA for short is Roydon Schools PTA.
Our aim is to raise additional funds for the School to improve the
children’s experiences at School as well as provide school
opportunities for the children, adults and whole families associated
with the School.
Each year we need new faces to replace those whose children are
leaving. If you are interested in becoming involved, then please ask
at the School office or look out for a member of the committee, we can
sometimes be found in the shed, just outside the School gates where
the children come out!
We usually have meetings in the evening to accommodate people who work
and these take place about once a month. Anyone is welcome, whether a
committee member or not and all contributions with ideas are very
welcome.
We have two main events during the year, being the Christmas Bazaar
and Summer Extravaganza. We also hold discos for the children during
the year and an event each term for adults, such as Ladies Night,
Bingo, Murder Mystery Evenings. These events are great fun and money
is raised in the progress.
FORSA also sell School Uniform and this can be purchased on a Friday
after School at the back of the Year 6 classroom, prices below and all
have the School logo on:-
